Police in Watertown, Massachusetts caught a moose on camera Wednesday morning as the animal ran through a neighborhood in town.

"A juvenile moose was observed running around the west end of Watertown and was followed into Belmont," Police wrote on their Facebook page.

The video, shot by two members of the police department, shows the young moose running along the sidewalk.

Environmental Police were notified of the moose's presence and responded, police reported.

Video posted by Belmont Police shows the moose continuing its travels.

Belmont Police Assistant Chief James MacIsaac told Sinclair that the moose was travelling through the streets from about 6 a.m. to 6:45 a.m., until it went into some woods.

The moose has not been spotted since it went into the woods, according to MacIsaac.
